月探風情懸竹梢
客尋詩意嗅蘭香
千重柳浪鶯啼軟
萬頃草茵牧笛揚


The Poetic Mood Is Melodious

Moon explores feeling of wind
hanging on the bamboo tip
Poets look for the poetic mood
smell the orchid fragrance

A thousand layers of the willow billows
orioles sing soft
Ten thousand hectares of the grass mattresses
the reed pipes are melodious

I invited the setting sun
to have a meal
At dawn
you urged the bent moon
to get up

Along the road
the rice flowers were fragrant
I leaned on the railing
the lake water was emerald green

The mountain is secluded
sure is a wonderland
The water is silent
summon the souls of the dead really

Dreamt flying in the sky
I rode a cloud
I enjoyed moon
laid in the flowers drunkenly
