On the sea shore
wind comes
but the tide has not risen

spring first comes

The lotus blossoms and laurel trees
the graceful shadows
The bamboo leaves and pine needles
the cloudy souls

萎花飘坠触秋魂
柔风弱柳荷塘月
细雨修竹桃渡云


The Autumn Thought

The frost wild geese
sad to sound
scared my friend’s dream

The withered flowers
floated and fell
touched the autumn’s spirit

The tender breeze
the weak willows
the moon in the lotus pool

The drizzle
the clouds in the peach ferry
the tall bamboos

Wandering on the bank willows
the flying silks are green

pass through the peach forest

Swallows twitter and orioles sing
in the chorus
In the new spring
Cuckoos urge ploughing

mountains and water are magnificent
the spring and winter are beautiful

A wonderful hand wields a writing brush with ink
heaven and earth are peace and harmony
